PowerISO is a copy of an optical disc. assim, if we have things like CD, DVD or a blue ray disc and we want to create an exact copy of it, hence we create the .ISO file. Since you never know anything could happen to the optical disc like you might lose the optical drive, scratch it or it may spontaneously die for some reason, and the problem occurs if that optical contains a particular piece of software that you need to install on your system. So what you can do is create an ISO file of it that allows you to burn, extract, editar, compress, encrypt, split and mount ISO files with internal virtual drive. assim, even if you lose your valuable software disk, you can just burn a new one or as many as you need.
